IHME Apr 20th UK Covid19 Model Results so far 30Jun20

On 20th April 2020, IHME published a model projecting the number of Covid-19 deaths in the UK.

The lower boundary projected a total of 19,642, the mean projected 33,142, and the upper projected 67,161. (These figures were far below their model of 5th April which had projected total figures of 27,557, 66,314, and 15,030 respectively.)

As of today (30th June), the UK has reported 42,247 deaths after a positive Covid test. This is already 27% above the mean IHME projection (which suggested zero deaths from the end of May), and the UK are still averaging over 100 deaths per day. We are still 25,000 deaths below the upper projection.
